This friendly hamlet in northwestern Stark County clearly shows its canal heritage with a working canal boat replica and a row of buildings fronting the old canal. Similar to towns like Boston and Peninsula, Canal Fulton did not develop an industrial base so when the canal declined so did the town. The canal history is preserved in a canal museum and the boat ride is outstanding.
