​We met at the Mc Donald's at North & Market Streets at 9am. It was great to see former CSO President, Larry Turner there, thanks for bringing him, Dan!! Then on to the Mustill Store parking lot for a tour of the store and locks 10 through 16. We moved on to the Akron basins and viewed the sites of locks 1 through 4 in the city center. Lunch was excellent at the Highland Square Mustard Seed Cafe, and afterward we walked to the nearby Library for the Trustee Meeting. Our thanks go out to The Cascade Locks Park Association and Trustee, Jim Madden, for a very interesting tour of the Akron canal historical sites! A gallery of photos from the day are shown below.
